Ashleigh Moore watched President Bush speak on July 4th. He asked all Americans not to forget our military and to let them know how much they mean to us. After the talk, Ashleigh asked her parents what she could do to help. They went to the America Supports You website and found Little Patriots Embraced. Ashleigh immediately decided LPE was the perfect organization for her to help. Her father was in Iraq for 13 months and she remembered how much she missed him. For her 9th birthday, she asked guests to make a donation instead of bringing a gift. Her mom was so impressed with what Ashleigh was doing that she asked some of her friends to make a donation. When her party was over, Ashley made a $625 donation to LPE!
